Your Life in a Nutshell

Have you decided to take the plunge and write your autobiography?  Maybe you’re doing family history research and are frustrated by the lack of information about your ancestors.  It’s made you realise that you have nothing written down about your own life.  Or do you simply want to get written down some of the more memorable parts of your life?

Whatever the reason, using Your Life in a Nutshell can help.  There are hundreds of questions to help you get started, from the expected; where were you born? What was your first job?  To the more trivial; what was your favourite sweet? What food did you hate most? Who was your best friend?  Completely different questions, but when all put together they paint a picture of you and your life.

There are questions about school, family, friends, pets, holidays – just about everything, and if you think of something else, you can add your own sections.  All your entries can be supported by uploading photographs, scanned images, video and audio.

We’ve split them into life cycles such as young child, teenager, young adult etc. so that there’s some sort of order to help you get started.  You can start at the beginning of your life and work forward, or start from now and work back.
