I love being able to keep a personal, private diary where no-one can find it.

Some bits I share with my boyfriend - lots of it I just keep to myself!

I've spent time recording all my memories, from my childhood up until last week.

My grandson loves looking at the pictures and asking who everyone is!

Finding my husband's last wishes in his Nutshell was a great comfort when everything else was stressful.

He also left some personal messages for me and the family which have given us some lovely memories.

Recording our financial records in our Nutshell has made us much happier now they're all in one place.

We can also watch our budget over the coming year and manage any extra spending well in advance.

We enjoy keeping a family record of what we do during the year, with lots of pictures and video.

At the end of the year we send out a kind of email newsletter to friends and relatives all over the world.

I've had an interesting life and always fancied writing it all down as a book - but where do you start?

Answering questions about my life has brought back so many memories - now I'm finding it hard to stop!

When my Mum died last year, my brother and I fell out for a while over what we thought she'd have wanted.

It made me determined not to put my family through that - so my wishes are all recorded in my Nutshell.

It's easy to think you'll live forever when you're young.

But now we have a growing family, we realise it's vital to put our affairs in order; if one of us is taken ill, the other will know where everything is and what to do.

Before I go travelling I store important information - such as ticket and phone numbers - in my Nutshell.

Then I upload pictures as I go, which I can share with family, and which will be safe even if I lose my camera.

I wouldn't even know how to use a computer!

But my grandchildren have been interviewing me on their phones and on video, and now they've recorded my memories in a Nutshell - I can't wait to see it.

When you have a dangerous job, and then have kids, it can be difficult to put your feelings into words.

So I've left him a special message in my Nutshell - if anything happens to me, he'll always know I love him.

There's so much to buy for a new house we find our Nutshell really important in managing our money.

It also helps us with our insurance and other policies - we can set reminders so we can shop for better deals!

I keep a record of my sermons and themes throughout the year.

It means I don't repeat myself too often!

We're going to start a Nutshell for the baby to keep records of all those special 'firsts' - steps, words, toys.

Then we can embarrass him with all that video, when he brings home his first serious girlfriend!

Lots of things are hard to talk about - at any age.

But now we've recorded our last wishes we can get on with enjoying retirement together, knowing that those left behind will have greater peace of mind.

I'm determined not to let student debt take over my life - I can watch my budget and cut back when I need to.

That's not to say I won't be enjoying myself though! It just gives me more control over my cash.
