How To Turn on Javascript
Instructions
Some of the web pages on our website require that JavaScript be turned on in your browser. If JavaScript is not turned on, many features may not work and/or the page may not display correctly.
To turn on JavaScript, follow the directions below:
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x, 6.x and 7.x (Windows)
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click Custom Level in Security Level for this Zone.
- Scroll down to Scripting, near the bottom of the list.
- Under Active Scripting, choose Enable.
- Click OK to leave Security Settings. Click OK to leave Internet Options.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x (Macintosh)
- Choose Preferences under the Edit menu.
- Click Web Content under Web Browser.
- In Active Content, check the box next to Enable scripting.
- In Java, click Enable Java. Click OK.
Firefox
Firefox (Windows)
- Select Edit from the menu bar and click on Preferences.
- Click on Content and click on the checkbox next to Enable JavaScript.
- Close this window and Click the Reload button in the browser's row of icons.
Firefox (Macintosh)
- Select Firefox under OS X or Edit under earlier OSs from the menu bar and click on Preferences....
- Click on Content and click on the checkbox next to Enable JavaScript.
- Close this window and Click the Reload button in the browser's row of icons.
Safari
Safari for Macintosh
- Select Safari from the menu bar and click on Preferences....
- Click on the Security icon.
- Click on checkbox next to Enable JavaScript.
- Close that window.
- Close this window and Click the Reload button in the browser's row of icons.
Opera
Opera (Windows)
- From the browsers File menu select Preferences or press Alt+P
- Select Multimedia from the list on the left
- Check the box labeled Enable JavaScript
- Push OK
- Reload the current page
America Online
America Online (Windows)
- Select Settings.
- Select Preferences.
- Select Internet Properties.
- Select Custom Level.
- Scroll down the Custom Level screen to Scripting.
- Enable Active Scripting.
- Select Okay.
- Select Yes that you want to change the security settings.
- Select Okay.
- Close the Preferneces window.
- Close this window and Click the Reload button in the browser's row of icons.
America Online (Mac OS X)
- Select AOL from the menu bar and click on Preferences....
- Click on the www icon in the scrolling list on the left side.
- Click on the Content tab.
- Click on checkbox next to Enable Javascript.
- Click the OK button.
- Close this window and Click the Reload button in the browser's row of icons.
