I'm determined not to let student debt take over my life
It's hard enough being a student at any time, never mind in the middle of a global credit crunch!
But membership of Your Money in a Nutshell really helps me manage day-to-day. I've listed all my financial details and use the budgeting tool to keep control of my spending, I can see when I might need to cut back a bit or when I can actually afford to eat properly!
But seriously, it's incredibly useful for not only keeping me organised in terms of spending but also in recording everything in one place. No more shoving bills in the back of a drawer and hoping they'll go away now, it's log on and store online to keep the record up to date. Can you tell I'm studying Economics?!
I'm also keeping a diary online through Your Year in a Nutshell and one day I might get round to my memories as well.
It's easy to think you'll live forever when you're young.
But now we have a growing family, we realise it's vital to put our affairs in order; if one of us is taken ill, the other will know where everything is and what to do.
But my grandchildren have been interviewing me on their phones and on video, and now they've recorded my memories in a Nutshell - I can't wait to see it.
Lots of things are hard to talk about - at any age.
But now we've recorded our last wishes we can get on with enjoying retirement together, knowing that those left behind will have greater peace of mind.
